Truth Time

I went through so much trying to be healthy, facing countless ups and downs along the way. My mentality was, without a doubt, the biggest obstacle I had to overcome! Like many others, I wanted quick fixes and instant results, hoping for an easy shortcut. But if you truly care about your health on a deep level, you’ll tap into your inner dialogue and remind yourself that it’s absolutely worth the effort and the patience. We’ve been lied to and manipulated, led to believe things work one way, when the reality is completely different. Here’s my honest truth: real, lasting change takes time. Consistency is the driving force behind all your progress. No one is pushing you or racing you to get there. The process of learning, adapting, and fully integrating new habits into your life requires patience. However, from my personal experience, once you shift your mindset from "I can’t" to "I can do anything," you’ll start to see how all the small, consistent changes you make every single day come together to create a powerful, visible transformation on the outside.

Inner work is just as crucial and essential as the outer work we often focus on. I went through countless, varied, and sometimes exhausting ways of trying to fix the broken pieces of me inside. It felt like I was some kind of virus that I had to eliminate at all costs. Throughout that struggle, I never truly felt like I loved myself or accepted who I was. You could see this in the way I carefully applied my makeup and chose my clothes—each act a mask to hide my discomfort. I wasn’t comfortable with who I was at all, and so much of that stemmed from the toxic environment I was trapped in, which produced destructive thoughts no one should ever have to endure. Fortunately, there are powerful tools out there to help on this journey, like shadow workbooks and journals available everywhere. You can even get them shipped right to your home from big-name online stores. All of these resources are valuable and helpful. However, when you commit to doing your inner work, it’s vital that you equip yourself with every necessary tool to truly heal and transform. We ground our bodies deeply to the earth, feeling its steady energy beneath us. We connect with ourselves on a profound level through the powerful practice of Meditation. Giving ourselves the foundations we need to heal.
