Let’s Talk Period.

I’m sure I will lose every male right now by saying this, but I want to talk openly and honestly about Periods. Or, to be more precise, the entire menstrual cycle. It’s a major factor in all women’s lives, no matter if they have one or not—it affects them deeply. Speaking as a woman, and someone who has been through the absolute ringer with hormonal issues following childbirth, I can tell you firsthand how complex this is. Honestly, the struggles started well before then, but that’s not the story I want to share today. Maybe one day I will, because from my experience, the medical system is seriously broken—especially when it comes to women’s health.

Now, the reason I’m bringing this up today is because I keep seeing women on Social Media asking what others are doing for Endometriosis, PMS, or just the brutal cramps that come with their menstrual cycle. Because let’s face it, Midol and similar over-the-counter meds simply don’t cut it. We live in a society where we’re so heavily drugged up, told to take a pill for everything under the sun. But the harsh truth is, most of these meds are just blocking your body’s natural sensors, hiding the symptoms instead of addressing and healing the real underlying issues. It’s time to question that cycle and start demanding better solutions.

It’s also incredibly hard to keep up with all the ever-changing fads around taking beef organs. Personally, I don’t exactly condone jumping on every trend. However, I have found some truly amazing results incorporating them into my routine. The only downside is that they’re not always the most budget-friendly option. You know, just a girl trying to stay healthy without breaking the bank.

For Women who have Endometriosis

It’s really all about finding a strong balance within your gut health. The absolute best things I recommend to everyone are to get a high-quality prebiotic and probiotic and make them a regular part of your routine. Swap out those beers for kombuchas—they’re packed with beneficial bacteria that actively help get your gut flora in order. Once you start incorporating more leafy greens, cabbages, and other fiber-rich veggies into your daily meals, you’ll definitely notice a positive difference not only in your skin’s glow but also in your digestion and bathroom habits. And trust me, that’s good news. Your body needs to be actively flushing out toxins that contribute to gut imbalances. When your gut is off, your hormones will be thrown out of whack, leading to relentless sugar cravings, unpredictable weight gain, and mood swings that drag you down. This approach helps prevent all that from spiraling out of control. Keep in mind, this isn’t some overnight miracle cure—it takes consistent effort and patience.

While I used to take a bath almost every day, twice a day if possible, for about three months. After that, I reduced it to at least three times a week..I would take a bath almost every day 2x if I could get the chance for about 3 months straight. After that I went down to 3x a week minimum for my baths. At the end of this blog I will put the recipe to create the baking Soda Bath.

Women on their Menstrual Cycle

During the first part of your cycle, it is incredibly important to focus on eating iron-efficient foods that will provide your body with the essential iron it needs to recover and regenerate effectively. These nutrient-rich foods support your overall health and help replenish iron levels that may have been depleted. My favorite might seem kinda weird to most people. However, it’s definitely Chicken hearts. I first tried them at Rodizio Grill during a birthday celebration once, and I’ve loved them ever since that day. I usually eat them alongside nutrient-rich veggies, such as beets, red cabbage, or a sweet potato, to make the meal both delicious and healthy. A good piece of high-iron meat would be helpful. However, throughout that week, I make a conscious effort to eat more dark leafy greens, creamy avocado, juicy watermelon paired with savory miso, and wholesome wild rice. All of these foods are incredibly nutrient-rich and packed with vital vitamins and minerals that provide the best natural boost, especially when managing all the demanding and unique challenges we women face every day in life.

Packed with all that essential information, I use a gentle douche. I also create a soothing tea that helps alleviate pain, and the best part is that it's simple and easy to prepare. I use that every single day of my period and also throughout the month whenever I feel the need for a quick refresh. It helps me stay feeling fresh and perfectly clean down below, giving me confidence and comfort no matter what. I'll share the tea recipe below.

Baking Soda Bath For Endometriosis

before I give the recipe I am going to give some guidelines for a bath. For all as guidelines.

Do not take a full bath within 2 hours of eating.

Check your water temperature. If you don’t have a thermometer, buy one from the dollar store. The water should be hot—between 98°F and 104°F—warm enough to handle comfortably. When you start to sweat, use a cold, damp cloth to cool down. Drink small sips of water.

2 cups Organic Baking Soda

Juice half an organic lemon, then add the squeezed lemon and baking soda to your bath..

or 1/ 4 cup Organic lemon juice

Must soak in bath for at least 45 minutes, no more than 2 hours.

Clove Tea (for Douche)

4 large Organic cloves or 1 tablespoon of ground Organic Clove, finely measured for optimal use.

1 Teaspoon of Ground Organic Ceylon Cinnamon.

1 Cup filtered water

Bring to a boil. Let cool and strain before using.

** Remember after using tea douche to refill your douche again and use filtered water as a rinse.

**These are my top, most effective suggestions..
