The Thick OF IT (Research)

I'm going to share my theory on several important topics throughout this blog. I promise to be real with you and completely honest. It’s crucial to understand that a lot of what I am saying stems from MY personal experiences.

The amount of research I initially began with, compared to what I currently practice now, is completely different. I first started my journey by diving deep into websites like the NIH, the Mayo Clinic, and any other credible sources I could find, desperately seeking information to figure out what the best treatment options were for me. I was on a quest to find the best doctor or the latest breakthrough that could alleviate my issues. Whenever I visited a doctor, I would ask for anything I could read or study for more insights. I transitioned from relying solely on mainstream medicine and trusting only medical doctors to ultimately trusting MYSELF!

I began listening to my own instincts more and more. Each time I followed that intuition, it often led me to discover a plethora of misinformation present in the medical field, ultimately guiding me straight to what I believe is the root of many health problems—OUR FOOD. Now, instead of continually searching for the next pill or the latest medical experiment to try on my body, I focus on seeking out foods that are rich in the nutrients we truly need. These powerful foods help to eliminate harmful bacteria and combat free radicals that may enter our systems.

Currently, I use a multitude of references for my healing and health remedies, drawing inspiration from a variety of methods that I have created and thoroughly tested myself. Additionally, I tap into the wealth of tried-and-true wise tales and folk traditions passed down through generations. My quest for knowledge extends to reading insightful books on the experiences of healing missionaries throughout various regions. At this moment, I am diligently working my way through the compelling text titled “Back to Eden,” authored by the knowledgeable Medical Missionary Jethro Kloss.
